Description
Looking for a meaningful way to welcome the Jewish New Year with your kids that's both fun and purposeful? Join Mitzvah Makers for a heartfelt mitzvah as we fill holiday bags for a sweet New Year! 🌟
During this time of year, we support clients and community members so they can celebrate the New Year with apples, honey, and other delicious treats.
Join other Jewish families for a hands-on family mitzvah project, filling holiday bags with treats and warm wishes for families and seniors across the Bay Area. It’s a beautiful way to teach children the Jewish value of Gemilut Chasadim (acts of loving-kindness), while showing them how they can help make the New Year sweeter for others through small, thoughtful actions—and feel part of a caring Jewish community.
Perfect for intergenerational families! This event will take place at our offices in Marin.
Please complete the registration form and list all family members planning to attend. Looking forward to seeing you all at the event.

A donation of $36 to support the JFCS Marin Food Bank is suggested.
JFCS' Mitzvah Makers is a volunteer, Jewish service learning program for families, which introduces kids to the Jewish value of Gemilut Chasadim (acts of loving-kindness). It’s a great way to teach the next generation about giving back and being part of a caring Jewish community.
