Description

Looking for a meaningful, hands-on way to celebrate Rosh Hashanah with your children? Join JFCS Mitzvah Makers for a warm, family-friendly mitzvah project as we prepare holiday gift bags for community members in need.

Together, families will assemble bags filled with holiday essentials and treats for individuals, families, and seniors across the Bay Area, helping them begin the Jewish New Year with dignity and joy.

This intergenerational project brings Jewish values to life, especially gemilut chasadim—acts of loving-kindness—and helps children see how small acts of care can make a meaningful difference.

Location: JFCS San Mateo Office
2001 Winward Way
San Mateo, CA 94404

Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Please complete the registration form and list all family members who plan to attend.

JFCS Mitzvah Makers is a Jewish family volunteer and service-learning program that introduces children to gemilut chasadim and helps nurture a lifelong commitment to giving back and caring for community.
