Description
Join the SF Community Living Campaign, Dignity Fund Coalition, NEXT Village, and a powerful coalition of seniors, people with disabilities, advocates, and service providers. Together, we are gathering at San Francisco City Hall to urge city leaders to "have a heart, use their brains, and show some backbone" by restoring proposed budget cuts to vital community services.

Why We Are Marching
Mayor Lurie has proposed a 2026–2027 budget that includes over $8.9 million in cuts to aging and disability services, alongside nearly $3 million in cuts to the Department of Disability and Aging Services (DAS). This includes NEXT Village's beloved District 2 University.

These severe cuts threaten essential programs that help thousands of San Franciscans live independently and with dignity in their own homes. We are demanding that the Mayor and the Board of Supervisors protect our community and find alternative revenue sources.

When: Monday, June 15th
Where: SF City Hall. See schedule below for locations including Room 200 (Outside Mayor Lurie’s Office) , City Hall Steps, and all Board of Supervisors offices.

This event is proudly organized in partnership with the SF People’s Budget Coalition.
